3. Registration / Conditions of Participation
Registrations for the event must always be received in writing. Incoming online registrations via the Internet and e-mail do not currently require an electronic signature. Registrations will be considered according to the date of receipt. After receipt of the registration, a confirmation of registration and an invoice will be sent. The invoice must be paid before the start of the event. There is no general entitlement to participate; the organiser reserves the right to admit participants in individual cases.

4. Participation / Cancellation
In case of cancellations received after 8 November 2024 or in case of no-show, the full participation fee will be charged. Substitution of the registered participant is possible by arrangement. Cancellations before this date will be charged with an administrative fee of 150,- Euro. Cancellations must be made in writing and will only become valid upon written confirmation by the organiser.

The organisers reserve the right to relocate or change the entire event or individual parts thereof in terms of space and/or time, or to cancel it at short notice. In case of a complete cancellation (exception: force majeure) of the event, the already paid participation fees will be refunded or alternatively a free ticket (credit note) will be issued.

Further claims are excluded unless they are based on intentional or grossly negligent behaviour of employees of the organisers or other vicarious agents.

5. Arrival, Overnight Stay
Travel and accommodation must be organised/booked and paid for by the visitor himself. In case of timely booking of the accommodation options (hotels) indicated in the event program, reference can be made to preferential rates. Further details are given in the event program.

6. Photo and Film Recordings
During the event, the organisers (Section 2) and commissioned production companies will make photo, sound and film recordings (hereinafter referred to as "recordings") for the purpose of documenting the event and promoting other events.

The participants declare their express consent to take part in the above-mentioned production as performers/participants. They grant the organisers the right to make recordings of their person in the context of the entire production and agree that these may be published for the stated purpose and in this manner:

Types of publication:
- Internet (worldwide access by anyone, any time)
- Social media networks (such as LinkedIn)
- Radio & TV
- Print media (dispatch to the press, own adverts, printed matter, flyers, posters)
- One-to-one communication (presentations for partners and sponsors, emails)

The organisers are permitted to edit, redesign, shorten, synchronise or transfer the recorded material into other forms of work, in whole or in part, while respecting (copyright) personal rights. This declaration is subject exclusively to German law. No rights (e.g. remuneration) can be derived from the consent to this publication.

If events are organised jointly with a co-organiser (see Section 2), the commissioned company may pass on the recordings to this event partner. Beyond this, however, the commissioned company shall not pass on the recordings to third parties.

As participants are attending a public event, the organiser and the company commissioned assume that, from the participant's point of view, there are no general reasons against the production of recordings and the processing of these recordings for the purposes described above. Should this nevertheless be the case, the participant is hereby requested to contact one of the organisers on site immediately and inform them of the objection. In this case, the participant is also asked - as far as possible - to ensure that they themselves are not filmed or photographed and to inform the production companies of this directly.

7. Limitations on Liability
Insofar as the events take place in the rooms and on the property of third parties, the organiser is not liable with regard to participants in case of accidents and loss of their property or damage to it, unless the damage relates to deliberate or grossly negligent behaviour of the organiser’s employees or other vicarious agents.

8. Languages / Translations
The lectures are basically held in German. Individual lectures may also be held in English without being interpreted. Lectures in other languages are translated into English and/or German. The associated event documentation follows this rule. There is no claim to interpreting/translation.

9. Copyrights, Photographs and Sound Recordings
The event-related lectures and documentation are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, distributed or commercially used in any form - not even in part - without the consent of the organisers and the respective speakers. For all film and sound recordings intended during the event, the permission of the organisers must be obtained in advance. Photographs are permitted to a reasonable extent for private purposes, taking into account the rights of third parties. The organisers assume no responsibility or liability for any inaccuracies in the content of the presentations and documentation.

The organiser is entitled to use photographs, image and sound recordings of the entire congress and exhibition events for advertising and press publications without the participant/exhibitor being able to object. This also applies to recordings made directly by the media with the consent of the organiser.

10. Exhibition / Sponsoring
The conditions of the trade exhibition/sponsoring accompanying the event are regulated in each case in event-specific conditions.

Group of Persons)

The list of participants is not publicly viewable, it is only available to other participants of the event in printed form, digitally within an app or within the digital event. In the purpose described above lies the legitimate interest of the commissioned company in the processing of this data (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DS-GVO).
