Our initiatives’ questionnaire is based on our practical knowledge from over 800 successful Agamus projects and is developed annually on basis of a “lessons-learned-process”. It is therefore a most valuable tool for a comprehensive control of the own stage of maturity concerning lean

The questionnaire 2018 is focussed on the following seven topics:
The questionnaire is in line with Agamus Consults’ guiding principles “Excellence in Lean”.
The questions regarding the topic “factors of success” have been developed based on hypotheses, which are established by the Agamus Consults’ expert team and/or have been discussed with the Awards’ nominees within over 240 evaluations since 2006.
The questionnaire is intended for people in charge of lean for production, logistic and development areas as well as operations manager with national and international responsibility and who are dealing with the basics of lean management systems on a daily basis. Eligible are plant and business units.
All participants are free to apply for an award. In any case, all participating plants will receive the comprehensive study and, if requested, an individual evaluation of the collected data in an international benchmark comparison.
After evaluating the questionnaires, the top performers - who are also contenders for an Automotive Lean Production Award - are given more in-depth analysis and validation of the results on site. Afterwards an individual feedback discussion with the experts takes place, where the top performers go through their strengths and potential for improvement.
Based on the individual analysis, each participating factory can draw its own benchmark regarding the application of Lean methods, the use of digitized applications (Smart Applications) and the results achieved.
In addition to benchmarking, this questionnaire focuses on a large number of success factors, which were developed based on the experience of 12 years of Automotive Lean Production - Award & Study by Agamus Consult. The critical engagement helps identify "blind spots" in one's own approach at each stage of the lean introduction.
